Pre-school/LKG

The children are introduced to a more formal form of routine to lay a foundation for all learning. A wide arena of themes broadens this developmental horizon. The curriculum is aimed at all round development of a child. A range of pre-reading and pre-writing activities are introduced to help children learn one step at a time. The curriculum gives an opportunity to your child to experiment with ideas and gain new experiences. We aim to instill in a child the skill to enjoy and explore his environment and channel his abundant energy in purposeful and creative manner.

Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m

Age Criteria:

The child should be 3 years 10 months on the date of admission for Pre-school

Time Activity

8:30-8:45 Self Registration & Free Play
Kids are given time to settle in. They place their bags and shoes in their respective corners, pick an activity of choice from the classroom and indulge in some “me” time. Attendance is also taken at this time.

8:45-9:00 Assembly & Prayer
Prayer helps kids to calm down and focus on the day ahead of them. Achievements and notices are announced during the assembly.

9:00-9:30 Circle Time
Children gather around and sit with the teacher to discuss anything that may catch their fancy. It is often about their weekend plans or celebrations. For pre-school and pre-primary topics are slightly more structured with the aim of making them think a little harder and look at things laterally. This is also important to build their self confidence.

9:30-10:00 Academics 1 (Language)

10:00-10:30 Snack Time

10:30-11:00 Academics 2 (Math)

11:00-11:30 Outdoor

11:30-12:00 Academic 3 (EVS)

12:00-12:30 Activity Room
This is a theme based activity organized by the class teacher such as painting “my family” or engaging them in some craft work to learn more about the Indian festivals.

12:30-12:50 Fruit Break

DispersalKids prepare to go home. Day ends by story-telling

Children who have opted for Day-Care go for lunch and then to the Day-Care room.
